Petland Dunwoody is a local family-owned and operated pet store that has been operating since 2000 in Dunwoody, GA. With a state of the art location providing you and your family with a fun and a hands on approach to learning about pets and their required needs.  We invite you to visit our state-of-the-art store and enjoy our pets!  We have puppies, kittens, reptiles, birds, small animals, betta fish and other pets for you to experience.

If you would prefer to take in a pet from the local shelter, we will be happy to refer you. No matter where you acquire your pet, we will be proud to counsel and assist you.

Taking a Puppy Home

Taking a puppy home can be one of the most joyful experiences of your life.

Our Program:

  • Breeder – We work with some of the best breeders. Our professional breeders are all State and USDA licensed. The Owner, Managers, and even Pet Counselors make multiple trips every year to visit and inspect our breeders. We focus on proper animal husbandry, socialization, and vet care.
  •  Vet Care – Our puppies are started on their vaccinations and de-wormers at the breeder. They also receive a health certificate from a veterinarian before being sent to our store. Our local consulting veterinarian examines our puppies shortly after they arrive. While puppies are in our store they are kept up- to- date on vaccinations as well as de-wormers. Our customers receive a complimentary visit with our consulting veterinary clinic.
  • Customer Benefits – All of our puppies can participate in the fun and tradition of the American Kennel Club. Our puppies are micro-chipped for lifetime identification. Petland Dunwoody’s resource kit comes with a two part Dog Training DVD. Additionally, there are more videos available on line and a toll-free training help line is available.
